Mrs. Rose will also join the Audit & Remuneration Committee, providing essential independent oversight and guidance. Her role highlights Tropical Battery’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and financial integrity. Mrs. Jody Gager-Rose is a highly accomplished finance professional with over 21 years of experience, including 9 years in senior management. She holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University and is recognized as both a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (FCA). Her expertise includes International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and preparing financial statements, particularly in the travel, leisure, and tourism sectors. She has served as Chief Financial Officer, managing accounting and IT departments, and became a director at a big four audit firm, supporting operations in the Caricom region. Her achievements have been recognized with awards like Manager of the Year for 2011/2012 and the Sushil Jain Award for academic excellence.
