The Jamaica Stock Exchange eCampus is hosting a one-day workshop and sensitization session focusing on Guidelines to assist employers implement Jamaica’s Sexual Harassment (Protection and Prevention) Act, 2021, to eliminate violence and harassment in the workplace.
The objectives of the workshop and training session are to:
- Build the capacity of companies both listed and non-listed on the JSE to implement the Sexual Harassment (Protection and Prevention) Act, 2021
- Assist HR Managers, legal officers and Board of Directors in preparing and curating policies and manuals that a refit for purpose in helping to eliminate/reduce sexual harassment in the workplace
- Prevent and address sexual harassment in the workplace; and
- Provide a tool for businesses to use for anti-sexual harassment training & sensitization among their staff.
