About Dolla Financial Services Limited:

Dolla began operations in 2014 offering Cambio and Remittance Services. In 2016, the Company shifted focus exclusively to Micro Financing, reallocating resources for better returns. This pivot was bolstered by acquiring a loan portfolio from former CEO, Kadeen Mairs and a private placement where FirstRock Private Equity Limited (FRPE) acquired 75% equity, facilitating further expansion.

The raised capital enabled Dolla to diversify its loan products and expand regionally. Starting with a single branch in Lucea, Hanover, Dolla now operates ten branches across Jamaica and owns two subsidiaries, Dolla Guyana Inc. and Ultra Financier Limited. On June 15, 2022, Dolla was listed on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) after a $5 billion oversubscribed public invitation.

Leveraging its branch network and customer relationships, Dolla has disbursed over $6.30Bn in loans since inception, generating a profit before taxes of $445 million in 2023. As of November 24, 2022, Dolla operates under the Microcredit Act 2021, regulated by the Bank of Jamaica, emphasizing its commitment to transparency, compliance, and responsible financial practices while fostering regional economic development
